is an information, referral and crisis intervention
service people can dial when they need help or when
they want to help. The 211 HELP!Line
serves Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities.
In
2005, the 211 HELP!Line
answered over 37,000 phone calls. Why are people dialing?

211HELP!Line tracks basic information about every call
answered. These records provide information about the
types of needs requested and whether the needs were
met. This data is used to not only project staffing
needs for the call center, but is also shared with community
partners in identifying unmet needs and developing future
programs to meet those needs.
