Provides personal hygiene items and household cleaning essentials to individuals who are in need. Quantity of items is based on household size and all items requested will be provided if in stock. Assistance may be requested once every 30 days, as needed. Pick up site for items is at the First Congregational Church.

An education-based system for earning material items for your child. Offers lessons applicable to to any stage of pregnancy up until age 2. Participation in the program rewards clients with incentive points that can be redeemed for material items.

Works to bring immigrants, immigrant advocates, and non-immigrant community members together to deepen their relationships and cultural understanding. Nearly all efforts are focused on Latin immigrants.

Immigrant families in need are provided food, furniture, school supplies, household items, and diapers.

Also provides organizing community English classes and connecting ESL volunteers with new English language learners, networking with immigration service providers in Eastern South Dakota, creating a general referral service for immigrants needing assistance, arranging translation services when needed, assisting families with their efforts to change immigration status, and community outreach to educate the non-immigrant community about obstacles immigrants experience in the Brookings area.

A no-cost warm, home-cooked meal served every Monday night (except major holidays) with supervised children's area with activities;diapers and baby wipes available each week;household items (toilet paper, etc.);and personal care items (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.).

Holy Innocents Ministry offers diapers, wipes, and formula vouchers to qualified families at no charge. Program may be utilized once every 60 days.

Open to families with children in diapers Newborn - Size 6, and clothing Newborn - 2T in clothing. Photo ID, proof of address, and proof of child's name and birth date required. Must fill out a registration form at first visit.

Clearinghouse for local food pantry, gas vouchers, utility (including water, electric, and gas bills with a disconnection notice), and rent help. Love Inc is not income based, rather they are need based. If Love, Inc is unable to help, clients will be referred to the appropriate agency.

Programs include: Friday Backpack Program (healthy snacks for weekends), Adopt-A-Student Backpack Program (supplies and backpack for the school year), personal care pantry, winter coat drive, Helping Hands Baby Ministry, Love Inc's Clothing Closet (a thrift store for the Canton community), and budgeting classes.

Provides diapers and wipes for Vermillion families in need.

1 pack of diapers / month for each child in diapers. Baby and kids clothes as well as other baby related items. Kids clothes can go up to youth sizes 14-16, but mostly kids clothes up to toddler size 5.

Supplies personal care items and cleaning items on a monthly basis. Many items are available on a scale according to the size of the item and the size of the family.

• Providing developmental screenings for children birth to five, after which the children and families receive formula, diapers, books and other items
• Collaborating with other programs to secure added incentives for the children and families, including formula and diapers that may be given out to children and families as needed
• Possibly providing local transportation for WIC

A diaper ministry in partnership with area churches that provides diapers, pull-ups and wipes to those in need of the basics to keep their young ones dry, happy and healthy.

Mommy's Closet is a safe place for parents or other caregivers to come and problem solve issues surrounding parenting, housing, education, employment, and general finances. Foster parents, grandparents and other caregivers are eligible to receive assistance for children in their care.

Mommy's Closet caseworker can provide case management and client support to families to help them: identify barriers to self-sufficiency, assist them to create success plans, provide guidance to families as they stabilize their lives, and provide referrals for additional assistance.

An educational program designed to help parents become the best parents they can be, while at the same time giving them the opportunity to earn some of the items necessary to meet the physical needs of their babies. As parents learn valuable information on pregnancy care and parenting skills, they earn Mommy Money and Man Bucks to use in the Baby Boutique for items such as clothing, furniture, and baby items.
