About the Event
The Spirit of Volunteerism is a well‑attended annual celebration that brings together community leaders, nonprofits, businesses, and supporters to honor the volunteers who make a lasting difference. Each year, students, individuals, and groups are recognized for their dedication, generosity, and service—their collective efforts strengthening and connecting communities across the Sioux Empire and the Black Hills.
Join us this spring as we gather in a spirit of gratitude and celebration to uplift these remarkable individuals. This inspiring event is a chance to publicly thank our volunteers, highlight their impact, and ensure they feel truly seen and appreciated for the heart they bring to our community.

Ava balances school, Girl Scouts, and other commitments while continuing to show up for others. She supports younger Girl Scouts at events, serving as a positive role model and leader they can look up to. Ava is also beginning to plan her own events, demonstrating initiative and growing leadership skills. Her dedication and willingness to lead make a meaningful impact on younger Girl Scouts and her community.

Lincoln Urias is one of our youngest volunteers. Once a month, he serves dinner alongside his family and makes a big impression with his even bigger heart. Lincoln loves bringing treats to share, handing them out to each of our guests with care and enthusiasm. His bright smile is something our guests truly look forward to, and he reminds all of us that the Spirit of Volunteerism has no age limit.

Jaylyn Stark, a freshman at Bishop O’Gorman High School, is a compassionate student leader dedicated to serving others. Nominated by peers for Hope Squad, she completed Helpline training and promotes mental health awareness in area schools. She serves through Peer Ministry, SADD, and TATU, modeling positive choices. Jaylyn also volunteers at Bishop Dudley House, The Banquet, and Sioux Empire United Way. A 4.0 student and multi-sport athlete, she leads with integrity, humility, and heart.

John Paul’s consistent service since childhood exemplifies the Spirit of Volunteerism. He reliably supports Christmas at the Cathedral, Gift of Hope, and the Bishop’s Fishing Tournament—events that raise vital funds for Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, The Lourdes Center, and seminarian education. His willingness to serve in any role, including setup, decor, valet, ushering, and teardown, and his genuine care for guests make him truly deserving of this honor.

Through her work as a member of the Sioux Falls Empire Coalition, Khadidja dedicated hundreds of hours aiding in the education of healthy life style choices to younger people. This lead her to working on a project that took her to a number of after school programs helping kids understanding the importance of dental hygiene. As a member of South Dakota Youth Activism, Khadidja participated in the advocacy against harmful legislation while providing important community building through events.

Lexi has served at Feeding South Dakota in many areas. She has volunteered at mobile distributions, sorted food donations for school and wellness pantries, and packed boxes and bags of food for families, seniors, and children. She radiates kindness and has a positive attitude while working. Because of her dedication and compassion, she has helped make South Dakota a better place, and I look forward to seeing all she will accomplish in the future.

Lily-Anne is a very dedicated and reliable student volunteer at Sanford Health. She currently volunteers in our Outpatient Rehab department, supporting members of our accessible wellness gym with their exercises and keeping the area clean and ready to use. Lily-Anne has made our members feel welcomed and encouraged when she comes to volunteer weekly. We are grateful for the 90+ hours of service that Lily-Anne has completed!

McKenzie has generously contributed a total of 1,564.5 volunteer hours from September 17, 2024, to the present day, demonstrating exceptional commitment, reliability, and leadership in service to children and families in foster care. Throughout her time volunteering with The Foster Network, McKenzie has supported the organization in a wide range of operational and programmatic capacities.

Neliea made a difference in her community by her kind and courageous efforts to make every kids at the Washington pavilion feel special and uplifted. She is always looking out for others and is supporting everyone she meets within her community.

Sara is the definition of a lead by example. As a high school student balancing academics and the fine arts, she still makes it a priority to show up with unmatched dedication and a heart for service with adults with disabilities. Sara embodies a rare level of empathy, knows everyone’s name, creates a joyful environment, and has a gentle level of understanding that earns the immediate respect of everyone at LifeScape. She excels at inspiring leisure and creates genuine moments of friendship.

Emmanuel Baptist Church generously provides a home for Lunch is Served. They have opened their doors to us by donating the use of their community room, kitchen, storage room, office space, and a garage spot. This incredible generosity has played a major role in allowing Lunch is Served to remain a highly cost-effective mission. Members of the church are involved in supporting and volunteering with the mission. We are truly grateful to be housed with a caring and supportive church community.

Interstate Office Products contacted me about volunteer shifts for their staff. I sent them open shifts, and they sent over amazing volunteers. They came in with great attitudes and work ethic. They’ve helped pack thousands of bags and boxes of food, and some has even volunteered for a full day riding along with our driver and distributing food to rural areas. When we need help they answer our call with smiles on their face. This is a partnership that we will always be grateful for.

Megan, a former staff member, and Mega Strong Fitness are extraordinary, deeply committed partners in our mission. From selling merchandise at events and helping clients move to leading prevention-focused youth trainings in schools, they serve with heart and adaptability. When our team experienced a staffing shortage, they stepped in without hesitation, ensuring uninterrupted services for the survivors we serve. Mega Strong Fitness consistently shows up wherever support is needed most.

MRG Hauff consistently goes above and beyond in their support of Special Olympics South Dakota. Despite their busy schedules, they generously dedicate their time, creativity, and resources to ensure our athletes and delegations are represented with pride and professionalism. Kip Eggebraaten demonstrates an exceptional level of commitment. Throughout the year, Kip spends countless hours working alongside staff to perfect uniforms for competitions and events, while delivering competleted product.

St. Francis House proudly recognizes Pathward for their meaningful commitment to our guests and community. Pathward team members serve breakfast each month and volunteer regularly on Friday afternoons, offering dependable support and encouragement. They also organized a resume-building event and donated laptops, helping guests build skills, search for employment, and take important steps toward stability and independence.

POET generously stepped in to help set up our new warehouse, putting in long hours of hard work to make this major transition possible. For 10 years, Spader Business Management (NCM) has helped make the special Wednesday night Christmas at the Cathedral dress rehearsal performance a dignified, joyful experience for marginalized neighbors—guests of Bishop Dudley Hospitality House and Center for Families, St. Francis House, and The Banquet. Staff greet, usher, and then distribute gifts to children and families who might otherwise go without—turning corporate service into tangible hope and modeling true corporate citizenship.

Vern Eide Motorcars exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism. By supporting JA Inspire, they introduce 8th graders to career opportunities in vehicle maintenance. Their investment in JA Finance Park and JA BizTown, along with their hands-on volunteer support, empowers students to practice budgeting and step into real‑life career roles. Their dedication leaves a lasting impact on future leaders and helps students explore what’s possible.

In January 2025 the Veterans from American Legion Post 15 answered the call to serve Avera’s food pantry to support the food insecurities in the community. Each week the Veterans arrive at the pantry eager to serve! They unload pallets delivered from Feeding South Dakota and assemble the food donations into bags for distribution. Today the pantry has expanded to 6 locations across the SF community, assembled 1,816 bags of food items and provided over 5,000 people in the Sioux Falls community.

It is an honor to nominate the mother-daughter duo of Michelle & Anna Sinning for their extraordinary leadership & dedication to the LifeScape Girl Scout Troop 41449. The Bonnema Family has been involved with Harbor Families for just over a year, and in that time, they have always willing to step into difficult situations to care for children. Since becoming volunteers, the Bonnema family has hosted 6 children for a total of 83 days. In each of these cases, the Bonnema family loved the children in their care incredibly well, which gave the children’s parents time to work through a crisis situation.

This group of young men have been willing and able bodies for anything The Foster Network throws at them. They always say yes and are willing to show up when needed even if it’s not a day they are scheduled. They have such a passion for the children in our community and a love to serve; even if it’s scrubbing the floors. Very admirable for being young adults and having such a serving heart culture.

Our Clothing Ministry team work tirelessly every Wednesday to ensure our guests have the winter gear and clothing they need to get back on their feet. They work as a unit to restock our whole Care Center. Thank you, Clothing Ministry volunteers!

We are honored to nominate the Communion Leaders and Servers of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church for the 2026 Spirit of Volunteerism Award. This dedicated group strengthens our community through faithful service, giving their time each week to prepare and serve Communion so every worshipper feels welcomed. Their quiet, compassionate work creates sacred moments of connection. We are grateful to nominate them for this well‑deserved honor.

Each of these men take time out of their busy lives to meet with new fathers on a weekly basis with Alpha Center’s Fatherhood Mentor Program. During each meeting they talk about what it means to be a positive, involved, and present father. Their mentees are reminded that they are not alone as they step into this new season of life. One mentor has faithfully served with Alpha Center since 2012, while the others have supported dads through the subsequent years.

The Fun Retired Teachers are a dedicated volunteer group who serve lunch once a month and also provide dinner at St Francis House. They bring kindness, energy, and a genuine care for our guests each time they serve. Their ongoing commitment and cheerful presence mean a great deal to our community.

The Green Angels are a dedicated group of longtime Girl Scout supporters who generously give their time and talents in countless ways. They volunteer at events and help create a strong sense of community among volunteers. Many members also support girl programs by teaching skills like sewing. Their continued involvement strengthens our organization and enriches the Girl Scout experience for girls and volunteers alike.

Hunting 101 volunteer mentors dedicate hundreds of hours each year to transforming lives through mentorship and hands-on education. They share not only essential skills such as scouting, firearm safety, harvesting, and processing game, but also a deep respect for wildlife and conservation. Their commitment is shaping the next generation of ethical hunters and outdoor stewards. The program is offered at no cost to mentees beyond purchasing a tag.

The Jundt Family of Yesi and her children Mikayla and Kaiden have kept the Pavilion’s Spotlight Theatre Company up and running since 2018. They are essential behind-the-scenes volunteers who make Spotlight’s youth theatre productions, workshops, and summer camps come to life! At any given rehearsal, the Jundts can be found decorating the lobbies, creating costumes, making props, organizing backstage areas, and more. Their generosity, reliability, and cheerful service are worthy of celebration!

The boys at McCrossan are always willing to help out in the community. They serve through the Helpline Center Serve and Learn Student Association as well as frequently serving at the Banquet and Feeding South Dakota. They work hard and are respectful, displaying the Spirit of Volunteerism!

In just a year, Mike and Tom have contributed 200 volunteer hours supporting survivors of human trafficking. As trusted, consistent handymen, they complete critical repairs at our office, safe house, and client apartments. These seemingly simple repairs have a big impact: their work creates safe, stable spaces where survivors can heal, regain independence, and rebuild their lives within our community. They generously give not only their time and skill, but their integrity and compassion as well.

We are fortunate to have group of volunteers who help fulfill orders for our school and wellness pantries, and they have hearts of gold.
This role requires working in the Sort Room, navigating the warehouse, pulling pallets of food, and ensuring each pantry receives exactly what they need. This team handles every step with care. Karen, Mary, and Mike are smart, kind, and always a joy to work with. We are incredibly grateful for the positive spirit they bring to our team.

Resources for Human Development volunteers with Habitat once a week. They assemble lights, cut carpet, clean and organize product in the ReStore. They have helped during our Rock the Block events cleaning up litter in local parks. Thank you RHD!

Kathy and Ellen volunteer together every Thursday, and sometimes more! They welcome patients to Sanford and help them find their way to their appointment. Along the way, they put patients at ease by visiting with them and assuring them they are going to receive excellent care. There have been many times that Kathy and Ellen have consoled a nervous patient, offered to help with special projects, and signed up for extra shifts when we need the help. For 11 years, the Sioux Falls Rotary Club South has sent a dedicated team of 10 volunteers to support our Corks & Kegs event. Abby has taken the lead with one of our youth program, 3•2•1 Fun. That program is for families who have a child between the ages of 0-5 with a disability in the Sioux Falls area. Abby dedicates her time as a volunteer to thoughtfully plan and host monthly events for those families. Abby has gone above and beyond with her care, intentionality, and leadership of that program, shaping it into the pride of our organization. She still manages to support other programs by volunteering their events.

Chelsea has one of the biggest hearts and is truly a joy to be around. She plays a very important role sorting food donations for food pantries and is always a helpful and friendly volunteer at our food distributions and in our warehouse, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Chelsea is smart, has incredible work ethic, and creates a warm and welcoming environment wherever she volunteers. Feeding South Dakota is incredibly grateful that Chelsea shares her talents and time with us.

Alpha Center is grateful for the compassion she has brought to our organization since 2009. Along with being a FT RN, she gives her time and energy to AC. We are moved by how she extends that same passionate, sensitive, and intention to her work at AC. She is gentle and kind to everyone. She helps out with fundraising dinners, volunteers at our AC building and serves on the Mobile Unit. She spends time on college campuses, spreading the mission of AC to students. Christine inspires us all.

Courtney has been volunteering in our soccer program for 2 years, which serves kids 6-14, and she has always been consistent and intentional with the kids, and she makes meaningful connections and positively impacts the kids she gets to work with.

Dee has been an outstanding volunteer at The Outdoor Campus–Sioux Falls. In nine months, she has contributed nearly 200 hours, consistently offering her time and skills wherever they are most needed. From greeting visitors to supporting programs such as fly tying, wild game cooking, and ecology classes, she approaches each task with professionalism, dedication, and genuine care. Her commitment makes her a highly valued member of our team.

Derick has faithfully volunteered at our House every week for years, showing up with a servant’s heart and contagious joy. He keeps our space running smoothly—changing lightbulbs, tidying spaces, and tackling whatever is needed—but more importantly, he lifts spirits. He even spent his birthday serving others. Beyond our walls, he volunteers at The Banquet and throughout the community, truly embodying the spirit of connection through service.

Dra is a dedicated lay leader at Church on the Street, having faithfully served our community for years. With compassion and consistency, she walks the streets, delivering snacks and supplies to those in need. Dra also helps sign people in at our food pantry, ensuring everyone receives the support they deserve. Jackson has been a dedicated volunteer since January 2025, contributing over 183 hours of service. He currently supports the Emergency Department and previously served in the Center for Joint Success. Consistent, reliable, and communicative, he rarely misses a shift. Recently, he stepped into the Emergency Department Volunteer Trainer role, helping onboard new volunteers. We deeply appreciate his commitment and leadership.

Jadyn bakes and sells spritz cookies and then she uses her profits to buy Christmas gifts for several Nursing home residents and Veterans every year at Christmas time. She’s been doing her project for years and making such a huge impact in the Sioux Falls area.

Kathy has been instrumental in the planning of the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta each year. She has taken over the role of working with food vendors, which is a huge task. Kathy is a full time mom, and takes time out of her schedule to help plan the Fiesta, which is an event by Caminando Juntos that celebrates the Latino community and also the main fundraiser for the ministry. The Fiesta has over 10.000 people that attend each May. We are so very thankful to Kathy in helping make this event a success!

Kelsie is a local volunteer ambassador for Women Who Explore SD. She organizes free/low-cost events for adult women to explore their community and the outdoors. She fosters a community of adventurous women and spends her free time hosting all kinds of events like roller skating nights, geocaching, hikes and social activities.

Lindsey Junker is a dedicated volunteer at Lunch is Served, generously contributing her time and talents wherever they are needed most, from packing lunches to helping deliver them. She has also helped strengthen the organization’s outreach by updating the Facebook page, the website, updating tickets for The Celebrity Chef Sandwich Battle. Lindsey’s willingness to step in and help, and her commitment to the mission of Lunch is Served continues to support the organization in meaningful ways.

Luke Reiter is a dedicated volunteer who serves breakfast with his daughter, Elcie, on the first Saturday of every month. He is dependable, generous with his time, and always willing to step in when extra help is needed. Luke’s positive attitude and reliability make a real difference for both guests and staff.

Max Boyum is a driving force behind Taste the Goodness. He has participated on the planning committee for the past several years. As 2025 silent auction co-chair, he energized volunteers, securing 200+ donated items and shaping packages. His steady coordination and dedication kept momentum high. The auction raised $50,000+ for the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, providing essential support for BDHH operations. Max’s leadership, creativity, and commitment exemplify the Spirit of Volunteerism.

Meghan Andersen was the powerhouse behind the Brittany Boutique, running it from top to bottom with heart, hustle, and attention to detail. She played a key role in planning the Fight Like A Ninja Tournament and made sure every apparel and merchandise item came together flawlessly, consistently exceeding expectations. As a devoted hockey mom, Meghan poured love into the small touches that made a huge impact, helping elevate the entire tournament experience for players, families, and fans alike.

Noah is a Child Advocate Volunteer. He worked as a child advocate but transitioned to a different job, then became a volunteer. He helps the children in our care learn how to connect with their peers. He encourages them to learn & grow. He helps teach the kids how to be a good sport while playing games. He is a stable and caring individual. He gives space for the kids we serve to be safe & navigate all of the challenges that come with growing up and overcoming hard times.

We are nominating Reannae for dedicating so much time and effort to youth of all abilities and elders as well. No matter the time of day, or when you call , she’ll always be there. Whether it is a ride to the doctors, a break from chaos in life, a just a few hours away from kids with challenging needs (medical or physical), Reannae will be there.

Samantha serves as her local Service Unit Secretary, troop co-leader, and troop cookie coordinator. She keeps her troop organized, answers questions, and ensures the cookie program runs smoothly, supporting both girls and leaders. Her dedication and reliability help create a positive experience for families and strengthen the community.

Shelby has worked very hard and started a Circle K International Club at Dakota State University in Madison. She is committed to service and since August of 2024 she has completed 114 hours of service within the Madison and Sioux Falls area. Shelby is the founding President of the Dakota State University Circle K International which is the world’s largest collegiate service organization. She continues to search for ways to give back focusing on her unselfishness and showing her true character.

Zandria stepped into her data entry volunteer role at a critical time. In just four months, Zandria volunteered 48 hours assisting with a data entry project for our Child Care Helpline. By doing these much-needed updates, the Child Care provider database is now more accurate and comprehensive, allowing for better information to be available for parents seeking childcare. Her commitment to this project will have lasting impact. Zandria’s work ethic and reliability make her an extraordinary volunteer!

Alicia Collura’s commitment to strengthening veterans struggling with homelessness is deeply personal, inspired by her dad’s Vietnam War service. As a board member and faithful volunteer, she brings meals 1-2 times each month serving 40–50 veterans, sharing not only food, but dignity, hope, and God’s love. She and her family also hosted a special cookout to honor veterans. Through her compassion, veterans know they are valued and never forgotten.

Bob Greenfield, a board member of Lunch is Served, recently introduced the idea of creating a sandwich board that clearly shares information about the organization’s mission. This portable display can be placed at local businesses and used at special events and speaking engagements, helping to bring greater visibility to the work Lunch is Served does in the community. The concept provides a simple yet effective new avenue for raising awareness and engaging more people in the mission.

Byron grew his daughter’s troop into a thriving multi-level group of 43 girls, leading meetings, activities, and the cookie program while serving as SU Cookie Manager and supporting other leaders. His energy, dedication, and accessibility inspire girls and families, and his service extends into the community, including organizing aid for families in need and creating opportunities for girls to be active and engaged in Canton and Sioux Falls.

Chris Reiser, an Army veteran and founding Ambassador at Wings of Valor Lodge, has served faithfully for six years. If there is a hunt or event, Chris is there—from start to finish. He gives selflessly of his time, energy, and resources to support fellow veterans. His passion for service is unwavering, and his commitment keeps our community connected, strengthened, and inspired through his example.

Christie was the first person to do 100 recesses in our Rescue Dog Recess program where people can take a dog out of the shelter environment for a few hours. She’s known as the RDR queen! She fostered a dog for about 5 months before he went to a training program and was adopted. She is heavily involved with the shelter donating toys/treats for the dogs and getting the community to also support the shelter by volunteering as well!

Cindy is a new volunteer who jumped all in at The Gathering Well. As a HALO buddy, she built a strong connection with her student. Cindy graciously fills needs, subs when needed, and serves foster and adoptive families with kindness and grace.

For 9 years, Harriet has organized Health and Healing, an annual event dedicated to supporting underhoused and unhoused communities. She brings together a team of 100 providers and volunteers to offer a day of free services, including haircuts, medical screenings, and connections to local organizations and healthcare resources. Hundreds of attendees benefit from a meal, receive giveaways, and experience a sense of community and support through Harriet’s compassionate leadership.

Jaciel came to Dow Rummel Village to work with a former resident, Norma McConnell on the plants in and around Dow Rummel Village’s campus. She is our master gardener consultant and spends several hours every week on campus caring for plants consults with a volunteer group that assists with the weekly care of plants, and has been an invaluable resource and volunteer for “all things” plant related at Dow Rummel Village.

Since 2020, Kathy has been a faithful volunteer of Alpha Center. Prior to this, Kathy and her husband served in Ecuador as missionaries for more than two decades where she also helped at a Pregnancy Resource Center by caring for the Spanish-speaking population. Alpha Center depends on volunteer interpreters to effectively serve Spanish-speaking clients. Kathy plays a vital role as a bilingual interpreter, helping ensure clear communication and meaningful connection with each client interaction.

Natalie is the Court Volunteer for protection order court. She is a calm & welcoming presence. She checks people in & helps provide a safe space for the Petitioner and Respondent to be separate until the judge is ready for the case. She connects people with our outreach advocate for case specific questions. In March she will reach 13 years volunteering with the Shelter for Family Safety & offers a friendly face with support in the midst of difficult times for the individuals she serves.

Nelson began as a volunteer with SiouxperCon in year two due to his son’s enjoyment on the convention and engagement. He became a board member in year 4 and has been Board Chairman for 3 years. Nicole can do it all, and she does. When she was in-between jobs, she stepped up big time to support us, and she continues to share her time, talents, and energy even while working full-time. Tara volunteers 3-4 days each week, and she has supported teams in Surgery, the NICU, Laboratory, and Post-partum. Since starting in January 2023, Alice has volunteered 1374 hours and driven 8107 miles in support of others. She is a generous volunteer who makes a meaningful impact by helping her clients get to medical appointments, swimming sessions, trips to the food bank, grocery pickups, hairdresser appointments, and activities at local senior citizen centers to encourage socialization. Her dedication, compassion, and reliability greatly enhance the quality of life for the many individuals she serves.

Ardys has been serving with The Foster Network for years and within her community for decades. She is 85 years old and refuses to sit down. Since 2023, Bobbi has faithfully volunteered each week with Alpha Center’s Baby Boutique, using her organizational skills to ensure mothers facing unexpected pregnancies receive the practical support they need. Carolynn has been volunteering at the Shelter for Family Safety for 24 years. She has helped in many areas of the shelter and in many buildings as operations expanded during our time as Children’s Inn. On many Fridays during our annual concert series, Deanna pops popcorn and provides service to concert goers. She also volunteers in the museum store. Deanna is friendly and engaging with all customers, and she always goes the extra mile for someone who may be seeking out specific items. She has assisted with the Murder Mystery at the Pettigrew, Woodlawn by Lantern, Homesteader Day, collections work, holiday decorating, and open houses. Deanna also sits on the Museum Alliance Board of directors.

Deanne is a remarkable volunteer, giving 250 hours to support survivors. She comes in weekly to sort donations and organize our in-house boutique for clients, creating a welcoming space. Alongside Ann, she developed a donation organization system that streamlined operations and ensured clients can access the resources they need efficiently and with dignity. After noticing items we still need, she directly donates to the boutique and purchases essential resources for our clients.

Harold is a resident-volunteer TRI-SHAW driver at Dow Rummel Village and pedals residents around the community in the spring, summer, and fall as weather permits for some much valued outdoor recreational experience to residents in our community who may not have the ability to ambulate on their own. Harold also chaired the Independent Living Resident Advisory Council in it’s inaugural year and created some valuable processes for the council.

John has been working at our thrift store for over two years now. He began volunteering with us after his wife passed away; she had a passion for helping the homeless, and he wanted to honor her memory. John assists customers at the checkout, helps sort clothing, and addresses any other needs within the thrift store. Most importantly, he brings a kind smile to all the customers and staff.

Jon Moeller has volunteered with Bread Break for over fourteen years. He served as the first board chair when Bread Break received 501c3 status in June of 2021 and continues on the board. He and his wife Myrna are the liaison between Messiah New Hope Lutheran Church Pantry and Kwik Star. Bread Break serves as a volunteer partner with Feeding SD to deliver surplus food from 5 area Kwik Stars. Jon goes on 13+ food rescues, 6 days a week. In 2025, he recovered an astonishing 85,000#s of food.

Marilyn has entered prayers for sharing and distributing them to local congregations. As a retired teacher, she has spent a lifetime caring.

Mary is a humble, indispensable volunteer for the Catholic Community Foundation. She tackles tedious, essential work—cutting, sorting, mailings—and prepares 5,000+ Christmas at the Cathedral tickets and signage. The events she supports raise vital funds for the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. As chair of the prayer committee, she tracks intentions and invites others to weekly prayer meetings. Feeding South Dakota partners with nearly 300 agencies. Rod plays a vital role in helping fulfill agency orders – work that can be lengthy and demanding. He handles each order with care, making sure every order is correct. The role requires strong communication skills and initiative, both of which Rod consistently demonstrates. Rod has volunteered with us for many years, and we are truly grateful that he continues to dedicate his time and energy to our mission in between his busy life.
