2021 Volunteer Brookings Events
Basic Needs Donation Drive- August 10-31, 2020
The Basic Needs Donation Drive was August 10-31 at various locations throughout Brookings County.
Helpline Center Volunteer Connections invited individuals, businesses and families to donate basic need items at locations listed at helplinecenter.org/donationdrive. All items were distributed to The Great After-School Place (G.A.P.) and the Back2School Project.
*All donations will be donated to nonprofits to distribute to those they serve
Helpline Center Volunteer Connections program has created Do-It-Yourself Volunteer Projects that are perfect to do at home or with a small group. Helpline Center invites individuals and families to choose projects that interest them from our list below. Once completed, the projects can be dropped off or mailed to area nonprofits. If you need information on what agencies will accept the projects, please contact the Helpline Center by calling 211 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
