Program Information
The Network believes that the abuse of power in society fosters domestic violence, rape, gender inequality, racism, and poverty by perpetuating conditions in which certain groups benefit from the domination of others. Services include training and technical assistance to member domestic violence and sexual assault shelters and programs;law enforcement training;prosecutor project offering assistance to attorneys prosecuting cases involving domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking;rural outreach services;emergency services funding;information of local Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART);quarterly newsletter;and provides a statewide listing of shelters for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault which can be found on the website.
