988 Mental Health Counselor (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
Mental Health Counselors provide evidence-informed crisis intervention, brief supportive counseling, suicide prevention, information & referral and follow-up services to individuals who contact the Helpline Center through 988 in emotional distress, with substance use issues or with suicidal ideation. Counselors interact with clients by telephone, SMS text messaging, and/or web chat. The position provides an opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills, and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral health.

Suicide Prevention Coordinator (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The position’s primary responsibilities are to provide suicide prevention outreach and aftercare education to k-12 South Dakota schools and organizations. The position provides an opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills, program development, and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral health.

Mental Health Specialist (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The Mental Health Specialist primary responsibilities are to provide follow-up support services for the Follow-Up Program and assist with mental health education. The Follow-Up Program provides extended telephone follow-up support services to clients enrolled in the program.

Nonprofit Development Director (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The Development Director will plan and implement a development and fundraising program to provide for short and long term needs for the Helpline Center. This individual will assess, develop, coordinate and evaluate fund development activities to ensure successful attainment of the financial goals of the organization. Other duties involve supervising marketing/public relations and development staff.

Health Insurance Specialist (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The Health Insurance Specialist will educate and assist individuals and community members on their potential eligibility for, and how to enroll in assistance and insurance programs. This position enhances Helpline Center’s ability to support increased access to health care coverage, with emphasis on serving low-income, geographically isolated, minority, homeless and migrant populations in South Dakota. Additionally, the Health Insurance Specialist is responsible to provide quality customer service to people requesting assistance through the Helpline Center Connections Center

Health and Family Navigation Specialist (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The Health and Family Navigation Specialist is responsible for maintenance and implementation of programing in partnership with the South Dakota Department of Health to assist clients in obtaining screenings for early detection of cancer, performing preliminary screening for eligibility for cancer health services, and problem-solving barriers to appropriate utilization of health, cancer screenings, and other services. In addition, the position is responsible to leading the Helpline Center’s subgrant award for WIC-CIAO project.

Software Support Specialist (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
The Software Support Specialist provides support to the Technology Director and Integration Manager with technical tasks to support users throughout the organization. This will involve the implementation, administration and customization of various software utilized at the Helpline Center. It will also involve conducting data analytics and reporting activities using various software. The ideal candidate would have a knowledge and understanding of CRM software, have an understanding of relational database systems, and possess the ability to learn new and complex technology/software quickly. The Software Support Specialist will also be expected to assist with hardware and software setup and troubleshooting with various device types including computers, servers and telephonic systems.
Job Requirements:
-Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related degree in any field with a strong interest in technology and the social services sector.
-Advanced Computer skills and a familiarity with Windows platform
