Program Information

Provides the following programs and services:

  • Insures mortgage loans for single family and multi-family housing for new construction and rehabilitation.
  • Funding for several rental assistance programs throughout the state.
  • Assists persons in filing a discrimination complaint regarding a fair housing issue.
  • Community development and housing project funds to Sioux Falls, Rapid City and the State of South Dakota (for grant distribution to small cities).
  • Grants are available to non-profit and community organizations for a number of projects including homelessness, fair housing, housing counseling, public housing, and community development.
