This office handles pistol permits, notaries, lobbyists, apostilles & authentications, and raffle requests.

Pistol Permit: The State of South Dakota issues the following pistol permits: concealed carry, gold card, and enhanced. More info available at: https://sdsos.gov/general-services/concealed-pistol-permits/cc-default.aspx

Notary Public: The Secretary of State provides information on becoming a notary public and maintains a list of current notaries. Please call the notary administrator for information. https://sosenterprise.sd.gov/BusinessServices/Notary/Default.aspx
