Program Information

Services include collecting fees for property taxes and vehicle licenses (cars, motorcycles, trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles, snowmobiles, and boats), parking permits application and issuing for individuals with a disability, and application assistance for tax reduction / rebate programs for individuals who are disabled and / or elderly (65 or older).

Self-Service Terminal (SST):

• Hy-Vee Food Store - 4101 S. Louise Avenue (Close at 11:00pm)
• Hy-Vee Food Store - 3000 S. Minnesota Avenue (Close at 11:00pm)
• Get-N-Go - 5400 E. Arrowhead Avenue (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)
• Sioux Falls Driver Exam Station - 2501 W. Russell Street (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday)
• Administration Building - 415 N. Dakota Avenue (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, closed Holidays)

All terminals can be used to renew ANY county registration across South Dakota.

Access to the terminals is fast and efficient. The touch screen prompts will walk you through the entire process. The terminal can only be used by individuals who possess a valid South Dakota driver's license or South Dakota identification card and are the owner listed on the title of the vehicle.
