Program Information
The mission of the SD Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners is to protect the health and welfare of the state's citizens by assuring that the following professions & occupations are regulated/licensed: MD allopathic physicians, DO osteopathic physicians, athletic trainers, genetic counselors, dietitian / nutritionists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, respiratory therapists, and physician assistants. Complaints are also taken regarding any of the above professions. Send an email to SDBMOE@state.sdus and request a complaint form sent via email or USPS.
