Program Information
Pass-It-On is sponsored by the City of Sioux Falls and is administered by Minnehaha County Human Services. The intent of the program is to provide citizens of our community that may be experiencing financial hardships with public transportation by distributing bus passes at no cost. Participating agencies that are able to distribute the free bus passes.
These agencies can distribute passes to all persons:
- Minnehaha County DHS (County Welfare)
- South Dakota Urban Indian Health
These agencies distribute passes to clients enrolled in their program, only:
- The Arch
- Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety
- The Glory House
- LSS Center for New Americans
- McKinney Homeless Ed. Program - Sioux Falls School District
- Pre-Trial Services
- Southeastern Behavioral Health (5th Street)
- St. Francis House
- Interlakes Community Action
- Drug and DUI Courts
- Union Gospel Mission
- Bishop Dudley Hospitality House
Applicants must continue to apply for passes at the same agency from which they initially received the passes. The passes can't be applied toward paratransit rides, only fixed route rides.
