Recognizing Amazing Volunteers
The Spirit of Volunteerism event is an annual celebration hosted by the Helpline Center that brings together community leaders, nonprofits, businesses and supporters to honor the incredible impact of volunteers. This well-attended event recognizes individuals, students, groups and organizations whose dedication and service strengthen communities across the region.
The event highlights volunteers in a variety of categories, including youth, corporate, group, up-and-coming, shining bright and lifetime honorees. Each honoree represents a unique story of generosity and commitment, with their efforts making a meaningful difference in areas such as human services, health care, education and community outreach. Through videos, recognition and guest speakers, the event showcases how volunteerism connects and uplifts the region.
More than just a recognition ceremony, the Spirit of Volunteerism serves as an inspiring gathering focused on gratitude and celebration. It offers the community an opportunity to publicly thank volunteers, highlight their contributions, and ensure they feel seen and appreciated. By honoring these individuals and groups, the event reinforces the importance of service and encourages continued involvement in building a stronger, more connected community.
