Child Care Helpline

Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child. The Child Care Helpline is a resource and referral service available at no cost to assist families seeking childcare by providing referrals to childcare providers throughout South Dakota. In partnership with the South Dakota Department of Social Services, the South Dakota Early Childhood Enrichment (ECE) system and the Helpline Center, the Child Care Helpline provides resources and support to families and providers. Looking for Child Care?

Let us help you with your childcare search! You can call 211 to speak with our Child Care Specialist who can provide you with individualized assistance in finding a child care provider that meets your needs. If you prefer to search for a provider on your own, click the link below to search our child care database for providers in your area.  Provider profiles are updated regularly with hours and availability.  You can also submit an intake form below for personalized search assistance from our team. We will provide you with a custom list of providers based on your needs.

We connect you with local resources and information to help you navigate challenges and find the support that’s right for your family.
